BASE Hockey is proud to announce that it has signed on with the Columbus Blue Jackets as their Shooting and Stick Consultants. The best can always get better, which is why the Blue Jackets came to us. The shooting and stick knowledge of Cliff Ronning and Al Iafrate along with BASE analysis technology can improve anybody's shot, even if they play in the NHL.
BASE will be analyzing all of the Blue Jackets players and providing them with their optimal stick specs. Al Iafrate will be working with each player personally and giving them the tools they need to improve their shot. He will explain some of the shooting fundamentals that he developed and which helped him set the hardest shot record at 105.2 mph (with a wood stick!) which was only bested in 2009 by Zdeno Chara.
We are looking forward to this opportunity and believe that we can take our skills and expertise to improve the shots of even the highest level of player. We'd like to thank the Columbus Blue Jackets organization for partnering with BASE and allowing us to work with their team.
